Market of Reyes Magos in Barcelona

If you want to see more from the tipical Christmas markets of Spain, we have good news: on 18th December starts one of the most famous markets of the country – the market of Reyes Magos. This year, as now it´s traditional, the avenue Gran Vía of Barcelona between the streets of Entença and Muntaner turns into a magical Christmas market, so that you can find anything you might love to give to your loved ones.

Reyes Magos aka the Magic Kings come on 6th of January to bring present to all the children who was good this year – and of course, to the ones who wasn´t… Apart from Christmas night, 6th of January is the most waited day in the year for Spanish children, as they usually get more presents from the Kings.

Be prepared for this magical holiday, and get your presents on the Christmas Market of Reyes Magos from 18th of December to 6th of January. They wait for you with more than 300 stands, where you can find everything from toys, to bijous, sweets, ceramics, hand-made gifts, clothes and so on.

Churros to refill yourself with energy
Did you get a bit tired walking all the way up and down? Get a crunchy and freshly made churros with chocolate or filled with the argentine rooted dulce de leche (caramel with milk) or simply with sugar!

Usually the market of Reyes Magos opens on Friday one week before Christmas. You can visit it everyday from 10 a.m. to  22 p.m. except on the last day – the market closes on 6th January at 3 a.m.

The market is separated to 2 different sections: one part is for the modern toys and games – the part closer to Plaza Cataluña, and the other is for the traditional and hand-made products, which are located closer to Plaza España.
