Skate Love Barcelona- International Dance Skate Festival

The Roller-Skating world is going to meet this September in Barcelona for the annual Skate Love Festival. Three days packed full of events, parties and activities this is sure to be the epicentre of the Skating community. No matter your age or level, the Skate Love Barcelona festival will welcome you with open arms.  Anyone with a passion for Roller-Skating will find something that they will love about this festival.

The emphasis will not only be on the Roller-Skating but also on the music as the festival will be played by DJs from all over the world. There will be Beach Jams and a Roller Disco where you can enjoy the amazing music designed to be the perfect accompaniment to your Roller Skating. Likewise, the DJs are not the only ones who are travelling from far and wide to come to this festival, there will also be performances and workshops lead by some of the biggest names in the Skating world. This really is an opportunity to watch and learn from the experts!

Taking place between the 18th and the 20th of September, this festival will have the stunning locations of the Beach Promenade in Badalona and the Mar Bella skate park; making this a really great time to come to the city. If you have never visited Barcelona before, or you just fancy seeing it from a different perspective, there will be plenty of opportunity to explore the city; and as part of the festival there will even be guided Roller-Skate friendly day and night-time city routes.

The programme really is full of great things to do over the three days of the festival but some of the highlights include: a welcome drink and networking event; drop in with artists who will help you to customise your skates; and workshops covering the principles of Rollerfit, Skate Dance, Yoga, Hula Hoop, and skate park skating. You can also try to make history by joining in with Roller Love’s attempt at breaking the Guinness world record for the “Largest Roller Skate Dance Routine”.
