More summer music in Valencia
This weekend, Valencia continues to spoil us with more top quality music with the return of the IBOGA festival. A three day long festival, starting today, which will attract around 20,000 music fans! The festival prides itself on its diverse line up which showcase styles such as Balkan, Gypsy, Swing and Ska music. And alongside this incredible line up, guests will be treated to activities, performances, amazing installations and a market.
This is the third edition of this incredible music festival and it promises to be the best yet with a line up including Asian Dub Foundation, Babylon Circus, and Gentleman & the Evolution: Great music and unlike many other European music festivals, this one is low cost with prices starting at just 25€ for a day pass and you really do get your money’s worth as the partying keeps going until 7am! Prices once you are inside are also very reasonable, as you can get a beer for just 2. The site can be reached directly and cheaply from the Estacio del Nord in Valencia so what are you waiting for!
Whether you are a lifetime Ska Fan or you just want to experience something a bit different, this festival is for you. Festival-goers will also get to visit a beautiful part of Spain which does not normally appear on the standard travel/tourist circuit: the festival site is located in a very natural setting just metres from the beach! The music is impossible not to dance to, the surrounding area is beautiful and the atmosphere is laid back and fun guaranteeing you an unforgettable few days!
As the camping has already started, stay in a Feetup Hostel in Valencia and make the most of the music and the beautiful city of Valencia!! Both of our hostels are within walking distance of the Estacio del Nord where you can take a direct train to the town where the festival is being held! Or equally, if you are looking for a destination for after the music festival has finished, Valencia is the place for you!
