Discover the solar system whilst exploring Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences

As part of their summer programme of events the City of Arts and Sciences are treating visitors to an incredible view of our universe in their state-of-the-art Hemisfèric. Spectators will be taken on a live journey through space and will be able to learn about constellations, solar systems and the secrets of the universe.

The Hemisfèric is part of Valencia’s innovatively designed City of Arts and Sciences which is one of the most modern parts of the Valencian skyline. This centre for many visitors is the highlight of their trip as it offers something different and because the architecture is really unique and inventive. The Hemisfèric itself is shaped like a human eye to represent one of its main objectives, observation of the world (or in this case, the universe!). It boasts a projection room with a concave screen that measures 900 square metres and has a diameter of 24 metres. These facilities mean that there really is nowhere better to experience this stunning live projection of the summer night sky!

'Las Nocturnas' is the name of the night and it will be taking place every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer until the 3rd of September. Making the night even more special, at the Tuesday viewing, guests will be able to enjoy a cocktail whilst they are taken on a voyage though the universe! A magical music programme will accompany the projection creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy this interesting exhibition.
