Valencia: A City that has it All!

From the beautiful beaches to the labyrinth of small streets in the historical centre, Valencia offers a range of things to do that will keep any traveller occupied during their stay. On arrival in Valencia the first striking thing is the contrast between the different areas- it’s almost impossible to believe that the futuristic looking City of Arts and Sciences is only a short journey away from the churches and squares of the Historical heart of the city.

Another great thing about Valencia is its party spirit; the nightlife in Valencia has something to offer everyone no matter what their taste may be. Whether you prefer a quiet bar, surrounded by locals, sipping Agua de Valencia (a summery cocktail typical of this city); or a nightclub on the beach where you can dance until the early hours: you will find it in Valencia. As well as its normal party schedule, throughout the year Valencia also offers festivities that cannot be found anywhere else. There is nothing like celebrating the start of the summer on the beach whilst jumping over fire at the festival of San Juan or taking part in a huge tomato fight at La Tomatina; where people come from all round the world experience what it’s like when 20,000 people get together in a small town next to Valencia to throw tomatoes at each other!
