THE CENTRAL MARKET VALENCIA

The Central Market Is one of those places you should see if you are visiting Valencia. It’s just an amazing celebration for the eyes and the palate. It’s a modernist building from the 19th century, spacious with lots of details and very very clean. You can find everything you could think about - from traditional Valencian products to foreign exotic  fruits, vegetables and meals. The best thing about is that you can stop on every stand and chat a bit with the sellers (some of them do speak a little bit of English) and yes, they are all very helpful and friendly explaining you how to cook the products, how the make and excellent paella or any of the typical rice dishes Valencia’s.   You should try the orchata, a typical refreshing drink from the region made of tiger nuts.
