There is lots of live music in Barcelona, you will be able to find a bar or a club that suits your taste that is for sure!   However, if you´re looking for a good mix you can´t go far wrong in the Raval on a Sunday. Starting off at about 7pm. in a cosy little live music venue called "Jazz Sí", it is advisable to arrive early if you want a seat as it is a very popular venue. The live music is in a jam format where there is a "house band" who open and close the show, but in-between there is a list where musicians can put down their names, and they  will then (at some point during the night) be called up to the stage to play. So if you sing or play put your name down and join in, you will have to bring your own instrument of course!
