Maria Luisa Park - Sevilla

The Maria Luisa park is the Sevilla ´s most famous public garden or park, one of its green lungs and probably one of the most beautiful park in whole Spain. Recently it has been declared of Cultural Interest. In the park there are some other historic parks inside, the main one, for it´s meaning and age is the Alameda de Hercules (1574), the oldest of being public in Spain and also in Europe. The park was designed, by the French gardener Lecolant in 1849, at the image and likeness of the magnificent Palace of San Telmo, and in 1929, during the Latin American Exhibition was reformulated by the French engineer J. C. N. Forestier. Full of legends and motives of Seville, once you walk through this park, it will take you to discover various magical places. The Samay Feetup Hostel in Sevilla is located just 10 minutes from the Maria Luisa Park.
